Gran Canaria is a destination that is best for advanced windsurfers looking for strong wind and waves. With the new luxury Melia hotel that is now open, just 20 minutes drive form the famous Pozo windsurf beach, Gran Canaria can make for an excellent luxury windsurf holiday. It can work especially well for couples and families, where the main focus of the trip is not just the windsurfing, but for a general luxury holiday, with the windsurfer having a few hard core sessions between family time.
