The centre in Essaouira is in the perfect location directly on the beach, and only a 10-minute walk from some of the best hotels or a 30-minute walk to the old Medina. The centre offers a full range of rental and lessons in windsurfing, kitesurfing, wing foiling and surfing. They stock an excellent range of the latest Duotone and Fanatic equipment for rental.
There is a great restaurant next to the centre, with a nice seating area for relaxing. The food here is excellent, so a good place to recharge between sessions, or for non-sporting travellers to enjoy. This area is also protected from the wind. They also provide sun loungers in front of the restaurant.
Windsurfing - Essaouira is a perfect all-round spot. Ideal for wave novices as well as all kinds of windsurf freeriders. A nearly endless long sandy beach, a big shallow water area near the shore, and awesome wind conditions make Essaouira a great destination for windsurfers from all over the world. Our Center in Essaouira is equipped with a wide range and large quantities of the latest Fanatic Boards and Duotone Riggs. You can choose between a fixed board rental option, or a more flexible variation of different boards to use during your stay with us. No matter which option you opt for, you can be assured that the equipment provided will be in top condition making your windsurf experience with us as pleasant as it possibly can be.
Essaouira is also an amazing place to improve your windsurfing skills if you are already an intermediate or advanced windsurfer with a great variety of conditions to satisfy all kinds of sailing. For beginners, this can be a challenging spot, with lessons only in the morning before the wind gets too strong. All windsurf instructors in Essaouira speak several languages, have a great lot of teaching experience, and most important are absolutely passionate about windsurfing and sharing that passion with others.
Kitesurfing - the wind is blows pretty steady side-shore from the right. Right in front of the Center, conditions are great for freeriding or some bump and jump freestyle. A little further down the beach, the waves are building up more and more, creating a fantastic playground for some kite wave sessions.
The Center is equipped with the latest and full range of DUOTONE Kiteboarding gear. Choose freely between EVO or NEO, standard construction or SLS, available in large quantities and all sizes. Our Duotone Board stocks range from various Twintips such as Jaime, Select, Gonzales standard construction or SLS to a variety of Directionals, such as WHAM SLS, WHIP SLS, FISH SLS. The range of Kitesurfing toys is topped up with Click Bars and different Kite Foil Boards for you to play with!
All Kitesurfing lessons are given by certified instructors only and are offered in several different languages. We recommend only private or semi-private lessons (max 2 students per instructor). For learning to kitesurf this can be a challenging spot due to the waves and strong wind conditions, but there is a huge and very wide beach making it quite safe. The centre offers excellent institutions so it is definitely possible to learn to kitesurf in Essaouira.
Wing Foiling - equipped with the latest Duotone and Fanatic Wing Foil gear for those that can already Wing Foil. There is a good range for Wings, foils and boards here, more than most centres. It can be a challenging place to learn, so Essaouira is best suited to those who can already 'get on foil' relatively easily. For wing foiling in waves Essaouria is one of the best locations.
