Coco Reef General Impression

Coco Reef is situated on the beautiful southwestern coast of Tobago in the town of Crown Point. It is a short drive from Crown Point International Airport (five minutes) and five miles from the capital city, Scarborough. The hotel is in a great location and provides a high level of service. The rooms are quite 'old fashioned' but well maintained.

Coco Reef's guest accommodations have a traditional Caribbean feel with tiled patios and balconies, wall stencils, tiled vanities and the very hand-crafted wicker furniture. Of Coco Reef's total of 135 rooms, suites and villas, 114 have ocean views.

The Coco Reef offers three beaches; to the West is the Country's most popular beach Store Bay, to the east the famous Pigeon Point and the hotel's private Coconut Bay just steps away from your room.

You can try the two Har-Tru courts, lit for evening games. For the golfer, two of the Caribbean's top Golf Courses, the Mount Irvine Bay Golf Club and the Plantations Golf Club, are both only minutes away. bThe Coco Spa with its cool marble interiors offers a variety of special treatments including aroma therapy, and the adjacent exercise room.

Complimentary sailboats, kayaks and pedaloes are available at the private beach. Arrangements for water skiing, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing and horseback riding can be made locally. Boat cruises and other sightseeing excursions, including trips to the rainforest, are also available.

Restaurants And Bars

The cuisine of Tobago is exceptional, benefiting from a good variety and quality of local produce. Coco Reef offers you the choice of two restaurants and two bars.

Tamaras: specializing in international cuisine, based on local ingredients. An elegant but casual atmosphere overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Full tropical buffet breakfasts and dinners are served daily.

Bacchanals: A picturesque casual seaside restaurant and bar with wooden decks right on the beach, serving lunches and snacks all day plus Caribbean cuisine under the stars at night. Additionally, a variety of theme buffets are featured weekly. Truly Caribbean in style with seating for 150 people.

The Gallery: The Gallery Bar and Lounge overlooks the beachfront terrace and the hotel lobby, with its exotic bamboo palms and waterfall. Ideal for afternoon tea or a Caribbean cocktail.

Bobsters: An intimate champagne bar nestled between Tamara's and the hotel lobby. The perfect spot for a pre-dinner champagne cocktail. Bobster's unique architecture of undulating walls features original murals of the Caribbean's most famous entertainers.

Cafe' Coco Restaurant and Bar, while not on the property, is a few steps away and a taxi can also be arranged to take you there if you'd like. It is an excellent alternative dining option where guests can enjoy a hearty Caribbean meal in a casual yet stylish atmosphere.
