Our partner windsurfing centre is located a short walk down the beach from the Caravia Beach Hotel, on an open sandy beach - there are not many in Kos! The centre is equipped with a good range of the new and 1-year-old boards from JP and about 90 Neil Pryde rigs.

The centre provides ample space and a recreational area. You can relax in the shade of trees in the chill-out area while a restaurant, pool bar, a freshwater pool, showers and toilets are also located here.

The predominant wind in this area of Kos is the Meltemi which blows from the end of May till the end of September. On good days the wind blows 4-5Bft in the late morning and then later in the afternoon the wind usually gets up again but can be up to 6-7Bft till sunset :) In this area of Kos the wind direction is normally on-shore which can produce some nice waves that can be ridden all the way along the coastline.
