La Tour Deole In Dakhla

If you are looking for the best standard of accommodation, service and food, away from the sometimes crowded water in the other parts of the lagoon, La Tour D'Eole is it. Set in a remote location further South in the lagoon, you can feel the wildness of the Western Sahara here. Both on and off the water you will feel you have plenty of space here to relax and enjoy the experience. 

This property works for all types of clients including singles, couples, friends and families; everyone will feel at home here.  The on-site watersport centre here offers the latest and newest Wing Foil, Kitesurfing and Windsurfing equipment from Duotone and Fanatic. There is a 2nd super flat water lagoon (La Piscine) that is flooded a couple of times each month; not essential but it is a nice extra for kitesurfers. We can book your trip around the optimal tides depending on your sports requirements. 

A special feature of the property is the food, which is exceptional, especially given the remote location. The room quality, especially the bedding, is also amazing. There is a nice pool in front of the main restaurant, as well as each of the 3 and 4-bedroom Pool Villas having its own pool. Daily Yoga classes are free of charge. 

The property is spread over 3 levels. At the top level are the 3 and 4-bedroom pool villas (perfect for families or small groups) looking out over the lagoon from a rear elevated position. The 4 bedroom villas can be booked as separate rooms consisting of a pool and sea view Classic Room, Duplex Prestige Suite, and Prestige Junior Suite. A 5-minute walk down a path (or a short electric buggy ride away) will take you to the main reception and restaurant area. At this level, you will also find private bungalows, most of which have direct sea views (upgrading to the 'first line' will guarantee an unobstructed sea view). From reception, you can jump into an electric buggy to get down to the extensive watersport centre in just a couple of minutes. Down at the watersport centre, there are a nice seating area where lunch is served, as well as some individual shaded sun loungers. The water sport centre has hot showers, changing rooms and storage lockers.

Nestled in the dunes surrounding the Dakhla lagoon, La Tour d’Eole offers you 21 private bungalows shielded from the wind, as well as a line of luxury 3 and 4-bedroom villas set back from an elevated position looking out over the lagoon. The 4 bedroom villas can be booked as separate rooms consisting of a pool and sea view Classic Room, Duplex Prestique Suite, and Prestige Junior Suite. Most of the private bungalows are sea view (but not all), to guarantee an unobstructed sea view there is the option to book 'first-line). 

The rooms are fully fitted out in Douglas pine, which blends in with the ochre landscape, La Tour d’Eole appears like a mirage. Here, the building is not an eyesore on the surrounding natural setting, but instead, it complements it. In the bedroom areas, each piece of furniture is unique.
