Caravan By Habitas Dakhla

One of the newer projects in Dakhla, Carvan by Habitas is located at the North end of the lagoon, close to many of the other popular kitesurf properties. This is a high-standard small property with a focus on great food and high-standard rooms. This property will work best for those looking for quality accommodation and food right on the main flat water lagoon. 

The property can feel quite exposed and ' sandblasted ' during high wind periods (especially in July and August). It is set back across a road from the water's edge, and at low tides, it can be a little cut off from the water's edge. Nonetheless, it is still a good option for those looking for quality rooms in the part of the lagoon. There are some unsightly new hotel projects on the opposite side of the lagoon and to the right of the property that, although not especially intrusive, can distract from what would otherwise be great views. 

There is a German run and managed kitesurf school at the property, with a good range of equipment for rental and lessons. 

The luxury accommodation includes 6 Desert Riads, 6 Dune Villas, 5 Lagoon Loft and 7 Oasis Villas. Re recommend the Oasis Villas to get the most of this property.
